You may have seen my post recommending Youtube and Twitch channels and saw me mention the one for Power Rangers.

What's this you ask? It's the branch of Shout! Factory that deals in Tokusatsu
(kids, go google that instead of making me do a dissertation on what it is)
Basically, Toku is the genre of Japanese TV that cover things like Super Sentai (which became Power Ranger footage starting mid 90s), Kamen Rider, and Ultraman.

For you fans of masked riders (yes, I know i made a joke using the title of the Americanized title of attempt #1 to bring it the US):
  • Kamen Rider Ryuki (what we attempted to adapt as Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight)
  • Kamen Rider Zero-One (it has nothing to do with the year 2001)
  • Kamen Rider Geats (the latest one added to the library)

  • Ohranger (Zeo, 'nuff said)
  • Carranger (probably better than the Power Rangers Turbo season we got, according to fans.  Plus NO MID-SEASON RANGER SUBSTITUTIONS)
  • Megaranger (man did they bring THIS Sentai's footage out of its original context when making Power Rangers in Space)
  • Gingaman (spoiler, the Pink Ranger doesn't die here like in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy)
  • GoGoFive (Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, minus the US-exclusive Titanium Ranger)
  • TimeRanger (US sends their Tine Force Pink Ranger from the future, while the Sentai in Japan sends 4.... and still have the Pink Ranger be one of the time-traveling heroes)
  • Gaoranger (Power Rangers Wild Force.... I wonder if they did an episode similar to our Forever Red special and if so, how far back it went in the Sentai lineage)
  • Hurricaneger (Ninja Storm...also, careful spelling the Sentai's name on Google)

 I recently got a chance to speak to a friend from one of the Twitch/Discord communities I'm in who just so happened to have once worked for one Charles Entertainment Cheese (AKA Chuck E Cheese). Confessions of a Chuck E Cheese employee: Volume 2

 Well, I didn't think I'd be doing a Volume 2, but after sharing the original "Confessions of a Chuck E Cheese employee" to r/chuckecheese over on Reddit, I've had a positive response to it. In fact, people FROM the subreddit wanted to sit down for a similar interview (this being one of them)  Once again, they wanna be anonymous.  When I asked what they'd want to be referred as in this post, they said "current anon employee" so that's what I'll use. Again, some of the original Discord conversation has been edited for grammar and other stuff for the sake of this blog post.

 Welcome to the first of what I hope is many talks with people who, like me, deal with Autism.  Knowing the stigma and everything and how some people choose to keep this private altogether, all I'll say is that these are some brave souls that'll brace this blog's chat transcripts. Speaking of, some of these DID want to keep their identities online anonymous, so when we were doing the chat (with me recording via OBS), I moved the to of us to a special Discord server set up for this exact thing.  I also changed their nickname on said server so the display wouldn't give their usual username away and cropped the avatar to where it'd not be on screen (via OBS).
