Ode to Official YT Channels with full Seasons/Series

Before I go to the main topic of this post....

THIS BLOG WILL BE A JUMP-SCARE/SPOOK-FREE ZONE

Now with THAT out of the way, let's give appreciation to channels that offer the fans of various shows *OFFICIAL* ways to watch shows that are NOT just fans uploading vhs rips or what have you.

These channels, having that official status, are less likely to disappear or have videos blocked (see the unofficial yet Vin Di Bona approved & assisted AFV Classics channel).

Here's some of such youtube channels (which will include things I'm embarrassed to link to due to the shows themselves, even if i watched said show on TV back in the day)

STARCADE https://www.youtube.com/@starcadetvv

Before modern E-Sports, Before G4's "Arena" with a former American Gladiator hosting... heck, before Phil Moore's impromptu lyrics going to and from Video Challenges on Nick Arcade... there was Starcade.  Oh, and be careful you spell it with one R, or you get an old wrestling thing, and also to pull a Wikipedia disambiguation page: we are NOT talking about Jon Tron, though there were some Star Wars involved.

The Starcade in question here is the FIRST game show to feature video/arcade gameplay as a core part of its format.

And unlike Nickelodeon's show in which the video games were only a small portion of the game (most of  it was trivia, a game board to move a show-created character around, and video puzzles... oh and blue screen magic with tech made by the producers who created the darned show), Starcade was 100% about the arcade games of the early 80s.  Even the tossup trivia to determine who gets to pick were about the games, as well as the "Starcade Hotline" segments that was mostly about news from the arcade game front (though we did get one segment with veteran host Geoff Edwards beat the notoriously difficult game, Sinistar).

FUN FACT: Alex Trebek hosted at least one pilot for this show (one WAS available to view by way of Wink's Vault... but the producers behind the show didn't like the idea and had it removed soon after)...but good thing he didn't get Starcade, or we'd not get 36 and a quarter seasons of him evolving into the Trebek we've grew to love at his Jeopardy lectern.

 The Power Rangers franchise https://www.youtube.com/@PowerRangersOfficial/featured

I mentioned this one already, so no long speil on it

Seasons covered: S1 (Mighty Morphin') to s23 (Dino Super Charge)

Totally Spies https://www.youtube.com/@TotallySpiesChannel/videos

Now THIS one falls under "guilty pleasure" but it's one of those shows where you wonder "how did the 3 girls NOT get their normal lives as high schoolers and their spy lives mixed up and end up exposed"

Granted, I was also watching things like Kim Possible and the next entry on our list

 Code Lyoko https://www.youtube.com/@CODELYOKOENGLISHOFFICIAL/videos

*EDITOR'S NOTE: THIS IS THE *ENGLISH* VERSION* AND THEY HAVE MULTIPLE CHANNELS FOR DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, AS SHOWN HERE

This channel *ALSO* has the never-localized sequel/followup, Code Lyoko: Evolution which got mixed reviews from what I've heard (replacing the 2d animation for the "real world" sections with live-action)
 .

Oh, and if you wanted the music from the Subdigitals, they have that here too (along with the full-length version of the theme song)

Also in the categories of  "guilty pleasure" and "shows about people living a double life", there's this...

H2O: JUST ADD WATER https://www.youtube.com/@h2o.official/videos

I haven't actually watched an episode yet, but idk why the concept is pulling me in (3 girls find a magic pool under an island on a full moon and suddenly they turn into mermaids when wet)

... let's move on to something more down my alley: a game show

STREET SMARTS https://www.youtube.com/@streetsmarts9604/featured

Ah, Street Smarts... the show that gave Frank Nicotero a vehicle to make fun of dummies by way of the man on the street interview format while also making it a game show.

Basic game format: the in-studio contestants guess if the 3 folk Frank talked to on the street that were featured in that ep knew the answer to a trivia question or not (methods varied during the game)

DEAL OR NO DEAL https://www.youtube.com/@dealornodealuniverse

Mostly focused on the US Primetime format, this also has the lower stakes ($500k) SYNDICATED run that felt more like the UK show (which they have one series/season of in there as well, along with episodes coming in from the current Australian reboot of the show)

These area all I can think of for now, and I'm not making a second post for any I come up with after the fact
